My name is Madalene Chan and I am a singer with extensive experience in voice coaching and teaching the art of song writing.
The practice I use in my classes includes a structured approach to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for professional vocal performance: from complete beginner’s, to advanced levels, and an introduction to song-writing i.e. vocal melodies and lyrical writing.
These online vocal lessons are available as packaged deals in a 15, and 30 hours covering the following:
- Technical mastery of the voice through theory and exercises relating to posture, breathing,
pitch, mode, arpeggios, ascending and descending major and minor scales, articulation, projection, harmonies and clarity of diction; - Using colour theory to explore your singing voice and improve your vocal health;
- Perform, adlibbing and vocal improvisation
- Compose your own original vocal melodies and lyrics.
